Idyllic, beautiful, and quite a floral trademark: bluebonnets
are loved by Texans, but are appreciated and adored by many. Recently my
husband spotted a field (not on the side of the highway!) not too far from
home. And since his mother was visiting from New Jersey and mentioned wanting
some pics with the kiddos in the bluebonnets, it was just the right time for a
photo shoot!
We were the only ones in this particular field one afternoon,
which gave the kids a great chance to run and play in the vast expanse of these
bright spring bloomers.
They had a blast, and I think we got some keepers,
especially the lovely ones with Grandma Ruth.
I love to watch the kids together; they are so sweet and affectionate most of the time. I love that they make each other laugh so much!
